Cerm is a software solution provider for narrow web printers. The company was founded in 1983 and has been working for the printing industry ever since. Headquartered in Belgium, Cerm is well placed for our consultants to travel throughout Europe and intercontinental. The company emphasizes on customer focus and selects its customers specifically to strive for a 100 % fit between both parties on a longer term. The market niche specific knowledge embedded in our solution makes that there is no geographical limitation as to installations. Cerm is part of the Heidelberg Group.

Business model

Located in the heart of Europe, all specialized knowledge is centralized in our headquarters. With a total headcount of 40 employees, Cerm is well suited to cover a wide geographical spread. With all modern technologies, the geographical boundaries are no limitation anymore. This approach has proven to be successful as Cerm operates now on 3 continents in this model.

Offices

Cerm Headquarters is centrally located in Europe, near Bruges in Belgium. 1 hour drive from Brussels Airport and Antwerp, Lille TGV Railway Station (France) or Calais (Chunnel from UK). The recently built modern offices give the necessary comfort to our employees, that are our biggest assets. We have all accommodations to host our customers and organize group training sessions or presentations. With customers nearby, we can organize onsite company visits at cerm-users.

Sales

Sales and business development is headed from Belgium and is supported by our Territory Managers who assist in the business developments efforts within their region. They are involved in onsite presentations at prospects, setting up demo facilities at partners, organize and participate in partner events .

Development

All development efforts of cerm – 40% of our added value is re-invested in development – are focused on optimizing the administrative process and organizing the production flow from the customer (request for quote) back to the customer (invoice). Our 16 developers use the latest software tools and database solutions (C++, SQL Server, PhP, Java and Html)

After sales

Our 18 consultants have a profound knowledge of the label industry and assist existing and future customers with installation and implementation of the cerm software. Well equipped, they can operate remotely or can come onsite for training. Their tasks include individual or group training, implementation and overall customer support. They can help you with best practices gained in different projects worldwide.

Customer support

Our technical team supports the projects with installations of the CermBoxx, A VMware-template based box, that allows remote installation and maintenance of the solution, with easy integration into your existing network. Our helpdesk is accessible through our ticketing system, during extended office hours.

Administration

All of our operations are supported by the administration team in Oostkamp. They issue invoices, pay our suppliers and they organize all practicalities. If you would like, for example, a hotel booked nearby our offices, please contact administration@cerm.net.
