It has only been a few days since Tarsus announced new dates for Labelexpo Europe, but already we are looking to what we believe to be a bright future. With preparations well underway for Labelexpo’s rematch in Chicago this September and some clever initiatives from industry suppliers, there will be plenty of time to catch up.

Of course, we all wanted Labelexpo to happen but it’s better to face facts and postpone to a better timing and have a great event we can all benefit from. And this certainly does not mean that all current efforts are lost. While Tarsus is exploring their options to organise a renewed Automation Arena at Labelexpo Americas, CERM will be taking part in the virtual Labelexpo Industry 4.0 Masterclass event. Just as we would have done during the live show in Brussels Expo. The virtual Masterclasses will be held in two parts on Thursday 28 April and Thursday 5 May and will explain how a today’s automated printshop takes full advantage of integrating its workflow. Among many other topics and speakers and together with MPS, we will particularly highlight how to connect your conventional printing press to your entire value chain: real time production data collection, Automation and recall of press parameters, Linking the press OS to factory networks, etc. More information and how to register for this Masterclass will soon become available. In the meantime, don’t forget to save the date:

Thursday 5 May: 16.05 – 16.35 CET, The Connected Press: Conventional
Presented by MPS and CERM, hosted by Andy Thomas-Emans
