Only last week, the CERM Team packed their suitcases - filled with excitement and maybe an extra kilo or two - and crossed oceans to be part of the largest trade show for the label and flexible packaging industry. Over 13,500 people from 77 different countries attended, and we were thrilled to be part of it. With one of our greatest shows to date, our booth became a stage where industry leaders and partners showcased CERM’s latest innovations and shared their stories of success.
A showcase of innovation
Our CERM Studio Sessions featured key solutions, including the CERM Scheduling Optimizer, designed to streamline production planning, and the debut of Lumi, our AI-support assistant, created to elevate customer service. We also highlighted CERM SmartBI, the ultimate tool for accessing and analyzing data. After months of preparation, it was incredibly rewarding to see these innovations in action and witness the fantastic responses from the audience.
Why CERM Customer Cases were a showstopper
We always say it: if you don’t believe it, see it for yourself. This year, we invited some our top customers to share their success stories, and the crowd loved it! From Blue Label Packaging to Natural State Label, our CERM Experience RooM was packed with attendees eager to hear how these companies thrived using CERM solutions. And for those who couldn’t join, don’t worry – we’ll be sharing these testimonials soon!
Blue Label Packaging’s success: scaling at an unmatched rate
Blue Label Packaging, specialists in high-quality labels and shrink sleeves, shared how they’ve scaled their operations by over 50% annually with CERM. "CERM has empowered us to handle thousands of products efficiently," said Andrew Boyd, President of Blue Label. Their seamless integration of digital tools, including the CERM Scheduling Optimizer and SmartBI, has helped them stay ahead in a highly competitive market.
Natural State Label’s journey: moving mountains with CERM
Whitney Brooks, owner of Natural State Label, explained how CERM’s MIS software transformed their operations, helping them overcome growth challenges. "CERM allowed us to streamline our workflows and improve efficiency," she said. Thanks to CERM, NSL has significantly reduced errors, improved turnaround times, and positioned itself for future growth.
C2C Printing: revolutionizing workflow with CERM MIS
David Silbiger, Sales & Product Development at C2C Printing, shared how CERM MIS software has revolutionized their operations, allowing them to grow 20-30% year-over-year without adding more office staff. "CERM helps us minimize errors while boosting productivity," he noted. By integrating with Hybrid Software, they’ve optimized their workflow, ensuring seamless data exchange. Looking ahead, C2C plans to implement Web4Labels, empowering customers with online proofing and ordering for a more streamlined service.
DRG Technologies: scaling growth with CERM and SmartBI
Roger Popovec, President of DRG Technologies, emphasized the pivotal role CERM played in supporting their multi-site expansion. “We implemented CERM because our old system was not going to support the company growth we were targeting," he explained. With the integration of CERM’s SmartBI module, DRG doubled its revenue per employee by making smarter, data-driven decisions. As they continue to grow, DRG is also exploring automation with Esko and Hybrid to enhance pre-press efficiency and customer experience.
The showcase of our AI-powered tool: CERM Scheduling Optimizer
In this ever-changing world, label and packaging converters are constantly challenged to optimize their scheduling, increase efficiency, and process more orders, faster and better. CERM’s AI-powered Scheduling Optimizer, showcased at LabelExpo 2024, is revolutionizing production planning. "Whether you’re handling complex production schedules, short-run orders, or high-end finishing, our Scheduling Optimizer delivers the most efficient and tailored schedule for your business," said Marketing Manager Sebastiaan Hermans. This tool helps businesses manage long-term planning and short-term adjustments, ultimately minimizing costs and boosting efficiency.
The launch of Lumi: CERM’s AI-support assistant
CERM’s Lumi, an AI-powered assistant, was designed to transform customer service by providing 24/7 support to CERM MIS users. "Lumi was born from our need to boost efficiency during the onboarding process of new team members," Hermans explained. "Now, Lumi is set to revolutionize how our clients experience support." Attendees were impressed by Lumi’s ability to reduce downtime and ensure customers navigate the software with ease, marking a significant leap forward in CERM's AI-driven user support.
