Q&A: Get to Know Eva

Q1: What’s your role at CERM, and what do you love about it?

Eva: Hi, my name is Eva and I'm the BI specialist at CERM. What I love the most about my job is the variety—it’s the customer relations; it’s creating beautiful and useful dashboards that make my customers happy. That’s very rewarding. And it’s also thinking about how we can still improve the product even further.


Q2: How does a typical day look like for you?

Eva: My day typically kicks off with a check of my inbox and our ticketing system, Zoho. Since we work with international clients, there’s often messages that come in overnight. After catching up on emails, I join our daily stand-up with the team. We review whether all customer data uploads were successful—if not, we troubleshoot and resolve any issues right away.

From there, no two days are exactly the same, but my time is usually a mix of building dashboards, joining client or internal meetings, answering support requests, and delivering trainings.


Q3: What’s one project or task you’re most proud of?

Eva: Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Sweden to run a BI Boot Camp for one of our long-standing clients. Over the course of the week, I worked closely with each division individually to understand their unique reporting needs. Together, we explored what insights matter most to them, how they currently use their data, and why those metrics are important in their daily operations. This approach led to the creation of tailor made dashboards for each team that are built to reflect their specific goals.


Q4: What’s something your colleagues might not know about you?

Eva: A fun fact about me? Maybe that I’m the only Iron Man at CERM! We have a lot of sporty colleagues, but no one else has done an Ironman like me. They’re all super impressed, while everyone is super supportive—and I’m also impressed by them.


Q5: What makes working at CERM great?

Eva: The reason why I love working at CERM are the competent coworkers and the strong friendship between teams—even if you don’t work together, you still have a strong bond.

For me, I also like the variety in my job, the rewarding customer interactions, and the flexibility and appreciation I get here—which I love.
