A fully connected workflow
In early 2022, Wauters implemented CERM MIS as their central system, ensuring seamless data exchange across departments. Previously, disconnected software tools led to inefficiencies, especially between prepress and administration. With CERM, Wauters built a fully integrated workflow, combining CERM MIS with Hybrid Software for an automated prepress flow and Sage BOB for optimized administrative processes. This connectivity improved response times, traceability, and collaboration across teams.
Measurable impact on operations
Laurent Nauleau, IT Director of Group Wauters, explains that the main reason for the ERP change at Wauters was to create a complete end-to-end graphic chain. Before, our systems barely communicated. Now, we can respond much faster to customers on pricing, deadlines, and order status.
The bi-directional link between CERM and Hybrid Software allows real-time proofing status updates for prepress, sales, and production. We now have complete traceability, knowing exactly who intervened and when. The time saved is invaluable.

A digital-first mindset
Beyond software, digital transformation requires a shift in mindset, advises Laurent Nauleau. We needed to avoid copying and pasting old processes into new systems. The software adapts to the company, but our company also had to adapt to the system. That's how you truly improve and automate.
With CERM at its core, They Wauters Group has built a modern, data-driven workflow - ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a future-proof business.
