We’re happy to share that the latest Smart BI release has been automatically rolled out to all environments:

What's new?

Here are some of the improvements and new features included in this release:

  • Clockings can now be reported on the main machine, when the registrations were done on an assistant machine: A new calculation group Machine Type (Original or Main) and Is Assistant Machine (Yes/No) attribute were added.

  • In the Material dimension, you’ll find a new attribute: Include in Stock (Yes/No), helping you filter out non-stock items like consignment stock.

  • The Scheduling Machine table now includes: Comment and Comment 1 fields.

  • The Scheduled Workload table now includes the Scheduling Date.

  • A new Planned Quantity measure was added to the Scheduling table.

  • You can now find the Supplier Document Number in the Purchase Invoice table.

  • We added Calculation Description 2 to the Production Job.

We’ve also expanded the data model:

New links between Calculation and multiple key tables (Message, Product availability, Inventory, Consignment, Status History, Profitability, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and Invoices).

Important Changes to Be Aware Of

Some updates might impact your current reports or dashboards:

  • Bucket calculation groups (e.g. Material SKU age, Shipment timing...) now include "Total" and "Unknown" buckets: this might affect visualizations using these groups.

The Job Performance table has been fully reworked:

  • Some measures have been removed: Inline waste, Offline waste, Percentual waste, and Produced web length (no gap).

  • The logic of other measures was revised.

  • Available measures now include:
    A) Quantity, Web Length and Surface
    B) Ordered, To Produce, Calculated, Consumed, Produced, and Destroyed
    .

Please double-check your reports. Some figures might look different or visuals may break if outdated measures are still in use.
