This article presents the CERM version 7.34 features developed to support the current EUDR regulation. These functionalities reflect the requirements as defined today (December 2nd, 2025) and will be released with our 7.34 version update.

While the regulation was officially set to apply from January 1st, 2026, discussions are ongoing at EU level that may result in a postponement. If the regulation changes, CERM will continue to monitor EUDR regulations and adapt our MIS Software in future releases as needed.

What you need to know ahead of the CERM 7.34 update

Environmental responsibility and supply chain transparency are becoming central priorities for governments and industries across Europe. With the introduction of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), companies that trade or process certain raw materials and products will soon operate under stricter reporting requirements and due-diligence obligations.

Under EUDR, companies must be able to demonstrate that:

  • Their raw materials do not originate from deforested land,

  • The products are traceable back to their source,

  • All required due-diligence information is collected, verified, and stored.

In preparation for these new regulations, our upcoming CERM MIS 7.34 version update introduces dedicated EUDR features designed to help businesses manage the required information and stay compliant without disrupting daily operations.

EUDR developments that our new CERM 7.34 version update will include:

  • Tools for capturing and storing required compliance information:
You’ll be able to record and maintain the mandatory data elements associated with EUDR-regulated materials and products (so-called due diligence statements).

  • Company, material and product-level EUDR information:
Structured fields to ensure your company or site and every regulated raw material or products contain the essential EUDR attributes.

  • Support for due-diligence documentation:
Version 7.34 will allow you to attach, reference, and maintain all information required for EUDR audits and regulatory checks.

  • Communicate EUDR information downstream:
As part of the existing traceability features smoothly communicate EUDR information to your customers as part of the shipment documents.

  • Integration into your existing workflows:
Compliance data fits naturally within your purchasing, stock, and production processes — ensuring nothing gets overlooked.

  • Automated readiness for future reporting:
As EUDR matures, companies will need systems that can export or exchange the required information quickly. Version 7.34 lays the foundation for future reporting capabilities as the regulation evolves.

Preparing for EUDR starts now

The new regulation introduces a major shift in how environmental data is tracked and validated. By implementing structured tools and clear workflows in your MIS, you reduce risk, avoid last-minute complications, and position your business ahead of regulatory deadlines.
