CERM at LOUPE Americas 2026: Innovation With People at Its Heart

425 exhibitors. Nearly 12,000 attendees. 82 countries represented. From September 15–17, LOUPE Americas 2026 brought the global label and packaging community together in Rosemont, Illinois, for three days of discovery, collaboration and exchange. For CERM, it was the moment to introduce Lexis, O2 and Tempo—and share an important new chapter with our customers and partners.

An event of this scale tells a story about the strength of an industry. At our booth, that story became personal. It was about the businesses behind the badges, the teams behind the production schedules and the people working every day to keep orders moving and customers happy.

We arrived in Chicago with a new look and months of preparation behind us. Our refreshed branding and booth reflected the direction CERM is taking, while creating a welcoming space to reconnect with familiar faces and begin new relationships. For our team, sharing the work was a proud moment. Listening to what it could mean for someone else’s business made it meaningful.

That connection between technology and everyday working life ran through our three major product introductions.

With Lexis, CERM brought AI to a task that customer service teams know all too well: turning incoming customer emails into sales orders. Lexis reads emails and attachments, extracts and validates the information against live CERM data, and prepares orders for review. The team stays in control, with exceptions highlighted for their attention.

The value of that automation is easy to understand when you think about the person doing the work. Every detail that no longer needs to be retyped creates room to answer a customer, resolve a question or give a complex order the attention it deserves. It is a practical application of AI with a clear purpose: giving skilled people more time to use their skills.

Product Manager Fran Boey took that message to the Spotlight Stage, presenting how Lexis supports real customer order workflows. Its shortlist recognition for the Labels & Labeling Global Innovation Award was another moment of pride for the team behind it.

The introduction of O2, CERM’s new cloud-based MIS, marked another significant milestone. Bringing our industry knowledge into an intuitive, browser-based platform opens a new path for converters looking to connect their operations and support their growth.

Initially focused on small and medium-sized label converters, with flexible packaging and folding carton functionality planned for later phases, O2 reflects how the needs of converting businesses are evolving. Sharing it at LOUPE gave us the opportunity to discuss that evolution face to face: what businesses need from their systems, how their teams want to work and where greater simplicity could make a difference.

Alongside O2 and Lexis, CERM Tempo addressed the daily pressure of production planning. A schedule brings together far more than a list of jobs. It carries delivery commitments, machine constraints, setup requirements and the responsibility of keeping production on track.

Tempo uses rule-based automation and existing CERM data to generate efficient production schedules while keeping planners in control. Its demonstrations brought a familiar challenge into focus: how to spend less time manually sequencing work and more time managing the decisions that need experience and judgment.

The CERM Studio gave those product discussions a wider perspective. Customer experiences and conversations with industry experts connected the technology to the realities of running a converting business. There is particular value in hearing from people who have worked through implementation, changed established processes and found ways to support their teams as their businesses grow.

For us, making space for those voices matters. Our customers’ experience helps other converters understand the possibilities, and it helps CERM understand what to build next. The relationship continues long after a demonstration or a trade show meeting.

That same spirit extended across the exhibition through The Label Trail. Together with Avery Dennison, CarbonQuota, Esko, Flint Group Digital Xeikon, GM Finishing, KURZ Digital Embellishment Solutions and KURZ SCRIBOS, CERM contributed to a connected journey through label production. It made the importance of collaboration visible, showing how different technologies and areas of expertise contribute to one complete workflow.

Looking back, Lexis, O2 and Tempo will remain important milestones from LOUPE Americas 2026. So will the opportunity to share them with the community that gives our work its purpose.

To our customers, thank you for your trust and for sharing your experience. To our partners, thank you for the collaboration that helps us move forward together. To everyone who visited our booth, asked a question or joined a session, thank you for giving us your time. And to the CERM team, thank you for the expertise, effort and care behind every part of the week.

Our new brand carries the words “Built on expertise. Driven by people.” In Chicago, we had the privilege of seeing those words come to life.
