A fresh look: UI-facelift for our CERM MIS
Mirror, mirror on the wall… CERM MIS is the fairest of them all.
With CERM 7.33, we’ve introduced a major visual refresh to our user interface. New, modern themes and intuitive icons are now embedded throughout your menus. Everything is right where you left it, even your personal customized menu’s —just better looking.
Automatically create pallets when receiving materials
When receiving materials through an ASN (Advanced Shipping Note), you’ll now benefit from automatic pallet creation. If the ASN includes pallet identifiers from your supplier, CERM will—based on a new parameter—automatically generate a corresponding CERM pallet ID and link it to the supplier’s.
No more scanning needed. Your intake process just got faster and more reliable.
Autoplan gets smarter: "Smallest Quantity First"
CERM’s Autoplan—our tool for optimizing products in print forms—now includes a new setting: “Smallest quantities first.”
This responds to the modern reality of label printing, where post-printing finishing has become more complex and time-intensive. By printing your lowest quantities first, you can start finishing immediately with the highest quantities, reducing downtime and minimizing the risk of underproduction caused by start-up waste.
Lumi has entered the chat
Meet Lumi, your AI-powered CERM support assistant. Launched just last year, Lumi has already proven invaluable to many of our customers—whether for solving tricky workflow issues or training new team members.
As of version 7.33, we’ve embedded a shortcut to Lumi directly into the main screens of every CERM module. Wherever you are in the software, Lumi is just one click away.
Cost scaling based on produced quantities
Efficiency and productivity depend on accurate cost tracking. Some costs cannot be registered Until now, calculated costs were copied from your estimation and applied based on the ordered quantity. But in practice, real production rarely goes exactly as planned.
With 7.33, CERM now recalculates costs based on actual produced quantities, once the job is closed or removed from WIP. This results in a more accurate cost comparison and helps improve future estimations.
CERM Portal enhancements
We’ve added several improvements to the CERM Portal:
The RFQ feature in Web4Labels now supports products with a second quantity level. For example, you can request quotes that specify fixed quantities per reel.
The Web4Labels shopping cart now allows uploading linked files (PDFs, attachments, etc.) to orders. Handy for CSRs entering orders who need to attach files from email.
The Job Progress Quantity tile in the CERM Production Monitor now displays the second quantity level when relevant—offering your operators a clearer view of job progress.
