JMF status updates now extended to Shapes and Packaging Tooling

Big news for packaging and label converters working with complex die tools and shapes. With CERM MIS version 7.33, we’re extending our automated JMF status messaging to cover our Shapes and Packaging Tooling modules.

Just like you could already update the status of a product via JMF messages, you can now apply the same logic to CAD shapes and production tools such as cutting dies, embossing plates, hotfoil, etc…

This means that status changes can be triggered automatically by external systems via JMF messaging. With this update, we want to improve visibility across departments even more and remove bottlenecks or unnecessary delays where production waits for manual updates from prepress or tooling.
