Senior Project Manager - USA

CERM is looking for motivated and ambitious applicants with experience in project management for software and/or ERP projects who are based in the USA or Canada, who can travel to our customers and partners to manage implementations of our CERM MIS, provide management support and coordinate project planning.
This position reports to the Director of Customer Service.
What you'll do
In this role, you will
Develop a scope of work, project plan, assistance in business analysis and specifications, and create training and test plans for your assigned projects.
Monitor and report project status and milestone achievements on a regular basis throughout the complete project through the establishment of key project success metrics.
Coordinate work performed by internal implementation consultants, outside vendors, or contractors to reach your project goals and customer go-live milestones.
Interact with customers both at senior and operational level in order to report on status, negotiate planning and milestones, solve project related challenges and issues as they come up.
Align technical and functional resources and specialists to the needs to the specific project and scope at hand.
Manage implementation projects to a successful conclusion within budget, scope, and timeline with the help of implementation consultants but also through your own knowledge of project management and domain knowledge buildup.
Work closely together with product management, helpdesk and other teams across all departments to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Participate in team meetings and share best practices.
Provide regular status updates and activity reports according to our company practices
What makes you a great fit
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have solid interpersonal skills and are team oriented.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management for ERP systems.
- Can manage accounts both at a high level and operationally within the assigned region.
- Have good interpersonal and time management skills.
- Be self-directed and self-motivated.
- Have formal Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2.
- Have a natural interest in working with clients with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Be willing to take ownership of issues and follow through to reach a solution.
- Have or have the willingness to acquire domain and product knowledge of CERM’s software and target market.
- Maintain a high standard of personal administration.
- Be willing to spend up to 25% of your time away from home.
- Fluent in English (any other language is a plus).
