Growing Means Managing More Complexity

To support Abbott Label's growth, the company selected CERM. Abbott considered different companies before reaching out to CERM. “By far CERM kept coming up as the premier system to go with. Other ERP systems weren't capable of handling multiple manufacturing facilities like CERM. It can handle our digital side, Flexo, RFID, and we're implementing flexible packaging. CERM is 100% the route to go”, says Abbott.

Abbott Label is using CERM for:

  • Estimating & quoting — creating and managing quotes more efficiently.

  • Sales order processing — turning customer requirements into structured orders.

  • Production management — managing and tracking jobs throughout production.

  • Production accountability — helping hold teams accountable on press and across the workflow.

  • Purchasing — supporting purchasing requirements connected to production.

  • Inventory management — improving visibility and control of materials and stock.

  • Invoicing — connecting completed work with the invoicing process.

  • Multi-location operations — helping connect processes across Abbott Label’s different facilities.

  • Workflow automation — reducing manual work and creating a more integrated operation.

  • Visibility & control — giving the team better insight into what is happening throughout the business.

Building the Foundation for Future Growth

For Abbott Label, choosing CERM was not only about the software. Strong partnerships are an important part of how the company operates, and the relationship with its technology providers is no different.

CERM’s ability to support different production technologies and locations, together with its continued investment in automation and AI, will help Abbott Label work smarter, respond faster, and ultimately provide even better service to its customers.
