Q&A: Get to know David
Meet David, one of our Junior CERM7 Developers. For him, every day is an opportunity to learn something new — about software, about the industry, and about himself. When he's not coding, you might find him experimenting with curries, woking some Asian-inspired dishes, or joining colleagues for a run during lunch. We sat down with David to hear more about his role, his passions, and what makes CERM special for him.
Q1: What’s your role at CERM, and what do you love about it?
David: My name is David, and I’m a Junior CERM7 Developer. What I love most is that I learn something new every day. The software is huge, so every day you get to explore something different — whether it’s about the industry or the code itself. That’s really exciting for me.
Q2: Outside of work, what’s something your colleagues might not know about you?
David: Maybe that I’m a very avid home cook! I like to make curries and Asian foods — some “woking”, which I find really fun.
Q3: And what do you enjoy most about working at CERM?
David: I know it sounds cliché, but it’s the colleagues. Everybody is open to help you. There are also a lot of really nice sporty people in the company. Sometimes we go for a run during our lunch break, or a cycling ride after work — that’s really fun.
Q4: I’m sure you heard Eva’s interview and how she became the Iron Man at CERM. Do you feel like that is an open challenge for you?
David: Maybe I’m going to be joining Eva, but I’m not quite sure yet. It’s a challenge, of course — but I like challenges. We’ll see.
