A young and dynamic company from Tilburg, Netherlands, CUPSZ was founded by two brothers, Michiel and Daan Willemsz in 2014. Their keen interest in cup printing and producing at high quality is evident as they spend a lot of time in research and development to ensure they are at the front end of printing innovation and delivering the best possible solutions to their customer base.
CUPSZ and PACKZ for enhanced innovation
In 2018, CUPSZ began their journey with HYBRID Software. By implementing PACKZ as their native PDF editor, they saw increased efficiency. Of course, for the creation of their cups, the conical warping feature was very important to them. A year later they were ready to take the next step and to automate the prepress production even further with CLOUDFLOW.

CERM Integration
Fully integrated with their MIS (CERM) system, artwork files get warped automatically. The print sheet gets created for the customer for approval along with a link to the 3D file – all online. As the digital integration of customer approval speeds up the process, the workflow can soon continue by sending the stepped up file to steer the digital press.
HYBRID and CUPSZ joint projects
HYBRID Software hasn’t only helped out with CUPSZ projects. In preparation for the LabelExpo in 2019, HYBRID became a customer of CUPSZ as we were searching for personalized coffee cups. In the end, 25,000 cups were successfully created with variable text, barcode, image transformations and logos.

In their brand new headquarters, CUPSZ prints the substrate on a Xeikon digital printing press in their own production facility. In addition, at their disposal are a number of folding machines which cater to the various sizes the cups are ordered in.
