The IT Manager role at CERM is a new position that brings together tasks and responsibilities previously split across two team leads, and that need more focused and shared management attention. You will have dual responsibility over our Customer Facing IT team (5 FTE) and Internal IT (1 FTE). The Customer Facing IT team supports our customers' on-premises VMs and infrastructure hosting CERM's client-server software, as well as CERM's own cloud infrastructure for our cloud-based products. Internal IT covers all internal office and network support for our team, development tools, license management, budget, and demo environments.

What you'll do
Team Leadership
Take dual responsibility over the Customer Facing IT team (5 IT Support Specialists) and Internal IT (1 FTE).
Provide natural technical leadership: guide team priorities and ensure effective coordination across both teams.
Foster a supportive, creative environment for the team.
Customer Facing IT
Oversee support for customers' on-premises VMs and infrastructure hosting CERM's client-server software.
Oversee CERM's cloud infrastructure underpinning our cloud-based products.
Internal IT
Oversee internal office and network support for local and international internal users (+100).
Manage development tools, license management, IT budget, and demo environments.
Cross-Departmental Coordination
Discuss and resolve IT-related issues across departments, including with remote development, DevOps, and customer service teams.
Coordinate tasks, organize reviews and meetings, and foster adoption of novel techniques and concepts across teams.
Data Protection & Security
Take ownership of data protection and data security, including the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) role as defined in ISO 27001.
What makes you a great fit
- Experience in systems and network support, and general IT support in an international context.
- (First) leadership experience, with the capability to manage a small team.
- Hands-on understanding of and experience with technical IT, networking, and infrastructure systems and technologies.
- Experience in, or understanding of, a context where IT is not just a support function but a core component of the products and services offered to customers.
- Strong communication and project management skills to align priorities across departments.
- Experience with data protection and information security practices.
- Experience working in a fast-growing, no-nonsense, international and rapidly evolving environment.
- Fluent English speaker.
